For a 30,000-year old virgin, Dongfang Qingcang sure knows how to kiss
Just realized tomorrow is Father's Day and I don't have to pretend to give a fuck.
HAHA validation
"My birthright was to die," Loki said, and the words were so bitter he could taste how they burned on his tongue. "Your father told me that."
Thor looked stricken. "That isn't true!"
"Oh, it is. It's not the sort of thing one forgets."
"No, I mean, it's not true that your birthright was to die." Thor chewed the inside of his cheek. "Odin really said that to you? When?"
"Just before he sentenced me to rot in Asgard's dungeon." Loki scuffed the toe of his boot against the pavement. He could still hear the cadence of Odin's tone, the cruelty in his words. If he closed his eyes, he could see Odin, peering down at Loki from atop his golden throne, his single eye so cold it chilled Loki to his bones. Your birthright, Odin spat, was to die. Cast out onto a frozen rock.
No, they were not the sort of words one forgot; they were the sort of words that tattooed themselves in blood deep beneath one's skin. They would be with Loki forever.
"I'm sorry," Thor said, after a beat. "I didn't know."
Oh, nbd, just revising a previously harmless scene into one that personally shot me in the face.
I just wrote 2,000 words, a FULL FIRST CHAPTER, I haven’t been able to write three sentences of passable fic in MONTHS, I feel like a superhero??
5 young trees/shrubs weeded/mulched up today, 5-8 more to go for the task queue of this week.
I am shocked. This new show runner has me feeling Sutton. Kudos to her, she did the impossible.
