yk i think the question of “how does disability exist in a world that has healing magic” can be easily solved by just saying that the magic doesn’t entirely fix an injury or illness and all its complications, it just brings it to its natural conclusion. speeds up the natural healing process. if you get a gash on your arm and heal it with magic it’ll still scar, if you get a knee injury and heal it you’ll still get aches in that joint even when it’s functional, you can’t use magic to regrow entire limbs or organs or nerves. you can just get everything to the point where you’re not gonna die or pass out. if being disabled is your body’s “default” state [eg. being born blind or deaf or missing limbs etc.] then magic isn’t gonna do much of anything with that at all
