 water faeries (alven) aesthetic

the alven is a species of netherlandic fairy, similar to pixies. they are very small, light-skinned, and don’t have wings, unlike many races of faeries. their homeland is the river elbe in central europe, though they live in many rivers and ponds throughout the continent. the alven are very innocent, caring creatures, who travel in bubbles and magical moonlight mist. rarer members of the race can use magic to shape-shift into otters.
