Been thinking about a show with the setup of like Sk8 the Infinity with those stakes and stuff, but in this fictional show the mc has an older cousin that’s moved in temporarily (job search issues) and is doting and protective and it seems weird that despite trying to be so present in their life now that the cousin hasn’t picked up on any of the signs that the mc is up to stuff they shouldn’t be doing
And then you get like one episode where it’s from the cousin’s pov and it turns out they’re getting into way crazier shit and in the process of them trying to hide it from the mc, they’re missing the signs that the mc is hiding stuff from them
Like the mc comes home from something reki went through, like shrugging off getting hit by a car, and they’re playing it off to their cousin, and their cousin is actively bleeding from a couple of stab wounds and is so focused on breathing through the pain and not letting it show that they’re hurt that they’re missing the mc wincing in pain too
And then after that episode it would never again directly acknowledge the wild things the cousin is getting up to, but there’d be signs in the background
