When Bruce enrolled Jason in his fancy prep school it was painfully obvious to Jay and all of the other students that he “didn’t belong there,” so he mostly kept to himself, preferring to focus on his studies instead of a social life. His excellent grades and love of learning quickly earned him a “teacher’s pet” reputation; and that reputation, coupled with the whispers about him being Bruce Wayne’s latest charity project, made him an easy target for teenage bullies. Since Jay was small for his age he certainly didn’t look like much of a threat, but it only took one brawl with him before those mean kids never dared to mess with him again ;)

[After seeing the photos of young Bruce in his prep school clothes from the Gotham series, I couldn’t help but imagine little Jay wearing something similar so I commissioned my amazing artist friend @needlesslycryptic to draw him for me :3]
