yesterday i made a post about Hob and Aziraphale both finding out about each other and I raise you something even funnier.
Hob was friends with Aziraphale and Crowley at completely different points in his life and they both knew him with different names. So Hob has to sit down when he walks into the bookstore and sees two of his old, should definitely be dead by a hundred years apart, friends ask ‘Bobby?’ and ‘Robin?’ at the same time.
smth I notice abt a lot of ferbella fics mainly bc a lot were written pre-2017 or so is that a lot of them can be pretty toxic T-T either like how the story goes or that the characters are often super mischaracterized to be way meaner than I think they would be.. or not even mean but like petty or rude or generally unreasonable and out of character imo, and thats usually less about ferb and isabella themselves and more often phineas and vanessa surprisingly, especially vanessa. Like ofc a lot of the stories use both of them for general conflict bc canon love interests ofc but so much of the time theyre like,,, not themselves somehow <_<? And like I said vanessa especially I've seen so often be characterized to be super mean, self centered, and like weirdly overly sexual which kinda feels like not knowing anything abt her character besides her design tbh 🤔 Like vanessa isnt the most bubbly or outwardly "nice" person in the show but she's rarely actually mean to anyone and cares about being a good person, shes goth and kinda cold to people but it just feels so weird when she acts like a 2010s mean girl stereotype (could this be internalized misogyny of early 2010s writers? perhaps. Could also be creating a villain character for the sake of the plot but either way it icks me out)

22. Least favorite fanfic trope
Oh dear. Uuuuuuh....
I always remove the Major Character Death content. I read two fics with it and I've cried for a literal hour after each of them and it marked me so much that years later I had to talk about it to my therapist. I'm just too sensitive for that, even though those were two incredibly wonderful fics.
One that makes me yikes... hana-something. The one where the person who doesn't get their feelings reciprocated starts slowly dying because flowers grow inside them. I can't read it without feeling like it puts the guilt on the person who doesn't reciprocate, like "it's your fault if they are dying" just because they don't feel the same attraction. I'm aromantic so it's a guilt that's been shoved in my face far too many times. ("Why don't you give them a chance?" "You're too picky" etc. Just ugh)
I'm also not very fond of the yandere trope. I've muted the tag here.
Thank you for asking o/
Reading an ao3 fic that was published July 10 but it's only July 9 I'm literally a time traveller😼
no im not saying this is a unique experience no im not saying im uniquely worse off or whatever for this but its an interesting thing abt my life that i quite literally can never return to certain places from my past. like thats usually mostly a metaphor, or half true, but like for example the high school i went to was being remodeled as i went there. there are buildings i spent hours in ever day for years that just dont exist anymore, and it happened within like a year of leaving. the auditorium was even worse bc i first performed on that stage when i was like 4? its gone too. right before i moved out of my childhood home i had to move all the furniture around for a slapdash and disruptive remodel. everything is gutted and rearranged and looks different. id say barely it functions as a house but it was a hoarder house growing up, so the functionality is probably equal, except now i guess its empty instead of over-full. even the house i lived in w my friends was drastically remodeled into some kind of workshop when they finally moved. even the big tree in the front is gone. my grandmother's house had to be remodeled after it got flooded in hurricane harvey. the dance teacher & studio head i had for a decade died. like god damn the liminal spaces sure do be liminal (im sorry)
Spare thoughts about Lawrence stitching Hoffman up?
lawrence is MAD and telling hoffman off. hoffman is being a grumpy asshole about it. lawrence tugs just a little too hard.
now of course, this all depends on what their relationship is at this point. have they been hooking up on and off? were they lovers before jigsaw entered their lives? it all depends!
