i actually enjoyed it overall! like it was all very tropey but in a way i mostly enjoyed and my only big complaint is that the main character is just so overwhelmingly unlikeable that it made certain scenes with him hard to watch.

#goddamnit the governor is quickly leaping up my favorite characters of twd list #i knew this would happen #he is basically twd's uther pendragon #multi faceted and having had done horrible things but still with the chance of redemtpion #*redemption #and who genuinely loves his family #blood relation or not #and is wonderfully acted as well #hershel is still my fave tho #hershel the governor and michonne #i do enjoy characters that are not completely good or evil #as thats kind of unrealistic in a post apocalyptic world #where survivors are forced to do what they can to survive #including battling figurative inner demons #that kind of thing is such an interesting watch #and fun to analyze and pick apart #again; see Uther Pendragon
