to anyone still here after my unofficial hiatus, hello~! i'm back now, hopefully ':)

i thought it would be best if i took a break from giffing to spend my time on more productive things (e.g. video editing, which i did do a bit of). but then, instead of spending my newfound time on more productive things, for the most part i just like. got into playing genshin and shit. so that didn't rly work out, lol~

but then i couldn't gif even if i wanted to bc my scratch disks were full. and then after that, even once i was finally able to and wanting to gif again, i struggled to think of good ideas.

but back in december i gave myself the little challenge of making a lockscreen a day (the results of which you may or may not see on here at some point, depending on whether i go back and polish them up enough to post or not) to work on my gfx skills (or lack thereof), and even tho i wasn't able to complete that challenge, i still made way more lockscreens than the 0-1 i would've otherwise. so i figured, why not do that again but with gifs this time~?

this is a rly long-winded way of saying i'm starting a 'random fourthgem gifs' series on here with the goal of posting once a day for 30 days, but with the option of continuing the series after that, too. this way, i figure i can just get back into the habit of making gifs again without the pressure to gif things that are new or make big time-consuming compilations. these are just gonna be little single-source sets (think ones like these: 1,2,3) that could be from something posted yesterday or they could be from something posted a year ago, whatever i feel like making that day~

i'm not even sure how many people on here still want to see FG content, but i'm still in love with them and it's what i want to make! and i used to run a bvndit blog so i'm used to not getting many notes on my work lol.

so yeah. if anyone's reading this, i hope you look forward to my upcoming sets! i have so many ideas, man. the amount of time i spend thinking about them is insane 🫠
