You got a thing for Pearl don't ya?
“…Maybe.”
{ @partcfyouruniverse } Amethyst crept up behind Pearl, a small array of flowers she'd found hidden carefully behind her back. She grinned, albeit a little nervously, as she said, "Pearl! I got something for you!" She flourished the bouquet to present it to Pearl, following up with, "I made you this! And uh... thought we could maybe hang out?"

“Hey, not quite a stranger,” Amethyst greeted from her perch in front of Steven’s TV. “Sup? If you’re looking for Pearl, she and Garnet went out to get stuff.”
Shopping, specifically, but hopefully Zirconia wouldn’t ask about that, because then the discussion would probably lead to revealing why Amethyst hadn’t been invited this time. No one needed to repeat that story.
“Just me, right now.”
Aquamarine weakly looked up when she heard a noise from outside her cell door, crying out in surprise when it suddenly broke open with a loud bang.
When they’d raided a Homeworld prison to find other Gems, Amethyst really hadn’t been expecting to be assigned to the solitary section. She thought Garnet would have been a better choice since she commanded respect a lot more easily than a little overcooked Amethyst did.
Good news was there was only one cell in the area that was occupied.
Bad news was that she was thoroughly unprepared to deal with what she found inside after bashing in the door.
“Ummm…” Amethyst said, taking a slow step inside, hands up. “Can you… walk? Or talk? ‘Cause we’re… here to help.”
Lapis stood in front of the purple gem, a little frown on her lips. Peridot insisted the two hung out as they were both "cool". She sighed, running a hand through her hair. "So. Uh. What do you and Peridot usually do?" She asked, obviously feeling uncomfortable being around the other. She wasn't quite used to the Crystal gems yet. Maybe she never would be.
Amethyst looked up at Lapis, scanning her face. She hadn’t really hung around Lapis much since the brief period she was in their house, but she did know that Lapis was pretty uncomfortable with them around.
“Well, we usually watch some TV or mess with Pearl’s stuff,” Amethyst said, shrugging. “Sometimes she just kinda does art while I’m here.”
She tried to keep her posture pretty casual in the hopes of not spooking Lapis, but she was feeling so awkward it almost wasn’t working.
"You don't need to be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you. Are you all alone down here?"
“I-I’m not scared of you,” Amethyst insisted, her lie very obvious against the way she was shaking. “I’m just fine! I-I have friends.”
Amethyst was staring up at this new Gem, trying to figure out what she wanted. She’d never seen anyone like her, but somehow she knew that they were the same sort of creature. She took a hesitant step forward, saying, “A-are you here to be my friend too?”
Hey, Amethyst, how are you doing? (human verse)
“I’m doing… okay,” Amethyst said, shrugging. “Everything feels a little weird. Like, you know when you get off a ship after being on it for a long time? Like that.”

Amethyst tried to steady her breathing, her smile wide and proud. This had been a rather successful mission and it had been thrilling. She turned to the other, still full of adrenaline, and pressed a soft kiss to her cheek. “We did awesomely,” she giggled.
