Let's Vent

So I'm sure everyone's aware about the cavalcade of corrupt, greedy, nickle-and-diming, money-grubbing bullshit in Battlefront 2. I'm also sure people who have followed this blog for a while know how much I love Star Wars. So much so that I cosplayed Qrow Branwen as a Grey Jedi this past summer at Otakon. So ultimately I've come to the hard, but completely logical and sensible decision to abstain from buying this steaming turd of a product that EA is pinching out of their corporate sphincter. And it really sucks, cause this game really should have been my jam. Straight up jimmy-jam-juroos should've been had by me playing this game. The Beta, while certain game modes were unbalanced and the battles were a bit overly hectic, it really was very fun. Starfighter Assault in particular was stellar. I felt like the best pilot in the galaxy in that game mode. But, in time for the full game, there's so much shit that I'd have to scrape, shovel, and claw my way through to have even half the enjoyment I had during the Beta. So, that's it. No Star Wars for me. Not until The Last Jedi at least. Really hoped this game would help tide me over until the new movie. Seriously, I hope EA burns. I hope the money in their fat pockets spontaneously catch a spark and char their business to ash.
