Hey, could you write a Yandere! JD from Heathers with a darling who he notices has had a self harm relapse... Maybe they make a little fire and watch it as he chides her and makes smores. Thank you! I do so love your writing.
tw. mentions of self-harm and blood, heavy religious themes.
Jason Dean
You were the only solace in Jason Dean’s life and you didn’t even know it. When your delicate hand, so pristine and unstained with blood, captured his wrist, your eyes sparkling with tears he knew he didn’t deserve, JD realized you were the one – the only one who would stay by his side through thick and thin, the only one who could see him at his lowest and his highest and refuse to run.
He was so in love with you, and you didn’t even know it.
But he knew love is never enough. The love you shared may be God, but JD knew God had long died and abandoned his children in the hell-hole he’d created for his sick pleasure. His mother said she loved him every day before heading to work, always kissed him father and his father goodbye with that beautiful smile of hers – and look where she was now. Buried beneath the very debris and rubble of a building his father had demolished – a building she knew was going to collapse, a building she still walked into regardless.
Love is never enough.
So when you said everything would be okay, that you’d always be there for him, that he no longer had to hurt himself just to feel something again – he believed you. He believed you, but he also believed that nothing you say could wash away the years of suffering he’d gone through, the years of suffering he would invariably suffer through again if he let himself fall in love. Your words could be lies just as much as they could be truths that aren’t strong enough to tether you to this God-forsaken earth; he knew you’d leave just like his mother.
But he did fell for you anyway, and that was the only thing you knew… so you fell for him too. Like the two selfish idiots his parents were, he fell for you and you fell for him and nothing else mattered anymore. He’d just have to protect you from anything that could push you over the edge too.
