Jason’s birthday would consist of him living his life with like 3 desserts sent to his place

- 1 from Alfred

- 1 from Dick

- 1 from whoever he’s working with at the time

And then the following weeks (bc everyone around him is an asshole) he just finds random gifts in safe houses he didn’t know were compromised. And also during ops he didn’t tell anyone he was doing.

Consisting of

- new tech from Tim that was hidden in the vents of one of his ‘no bats allowed’ safe houses

- a giftcard to target with a ‘so you don’t ever have to wear a stupid pill head again and can buy clothes’ note from Steph that was actually inside his helmet

- a really nice watch that was just on his wrist when he woke up (it was from Bruce and is a match to the watch Jason fixed for Bruce as Robin)

- a sword cleaning kit hidden inside one of his potted plants from Damian ( it wasn’t actually hidden everything was just stuck in the soil of the pot and very visible it was a little funny)

- a happy birthday note that was actually taped to the back of Black Mask like a middle Schooler would tape a kick me sign (from Dick the page was cut so it would look like the paper had little bat ears)

- all of his favorite protein bars were stolen from his safe houses and replaced with IOUs and 20$ bills which is just an inaccurate amount of money and generally inconvenient for when he’s done with patrol and hungry (this is how Cass will convince him to join them for drive through)

- flashlights that all look like their mini bat signals from Duke (they were sticking out his duffel bag, like 20 of them and he had no idea they were there)

scaled and icy was a good time because he would just do things like this. deadpan stare into the camera okay pose for the camera tyler? uh. okay. sure whatever i guess. and we’d be like yeah that’s our guy he wrote the song that saved my life 🧡 and he’s here doing stuff like this plus his hair is dyed pink plus his self insert catboy savior sona is being psychologically tortured by the evil bad guys right now. life was so good
