historical sisters (2/∞) Eugenia and Athina "Tina" Livanos (The 'Livanos Sisters')
The Livanos sisters were the daughters of a Greek shipping tycoon, and became well-known in society circles as the glamorous wives of Onassis and Niarchos, the two most powerful figures in the postwar shipping world. Their rivalry spanned decades and extended to jewelry, designer clothes, artworks, homes, properties and yachts, spearheaded by Tina. Ultimately, however, their legacy would be cemented as that of two melancholic figures, trapped in loveless marriages and waning through the years under the wistful gaze of European society.
