WIP Word Search
Tagged by @a11sha11fade, thank you! 💕
Now, I already did a WIP Wed, and did a word search earlier in the week (last week? what is time anyhow?). But I feel like doing it again, just for you, maggle. 🥰 Not going to tag anyone, but if you feel like it, go on ahead.
Sun - from chapter 100 of WG
Imogen sank into the tub until only her head was above the surface, her chin bobbing in and out of the little waves made by her body displacing the water. At least it was hot. She hadn't thought she'd want a hot bath considering it was summer. But Skyhold seemed to hold steady at a springlike temperature and with the setting of the sun, the air had cooled noticeably.
She'd washed her hair first and piled it into a loose knot on top of her head while she soaked. The heat permeated through aching joints and sore muscles and she relaxed against the rim of the tub with a sigh. She felt weightless in the water, slightly floating. Grateful that one of the luxuries in being Inquisitor had translated to a bathtub nearly big enough to swim in, even in this relatively small space.
Time passed.
Stars - from Of Ruins and Restoration
“All caught up then?” she asked, sliding her dagger back into its sheath. She rolled to her feet, not quite sure why, but presuming that she wouldn't get any more sleep that night.
“I know what I must do.”
“Tell me you don't plan to start in the middle of the night.”
He looked up at the sky, searching the twinkling stars for something. When he looked back down to her, a small smile turned the corners of his mouth upwards. “No, not tonight. I must regain my strength. And perhaps beg a favor.”
“Ask.”
Water - from chapter 104 of WG
There were few people up and about, she found when she left her hut. But a young woman with a toddler on her hip directed Imogen to the narrow path that led down the cliff face to the cave where the hot spring was fed from the lake. It too was quiet at this hour, or everyone was still sleeping off last night's revels. The cave was murky with steam but when she stepped further in, it cleared enough that she saw Solas reclined in the water at the other end of the spring.
It was wide open without partitions for privacy, but here and there were stone slabs set off the ground like tables. She was able to skirt around the edge to the one Solas had neatly folded his clothes upon and did the same with her own. The rustle of fabric and unzipping of her boots sounded muted in the vaporous fog, but it was enough to get his attention. From where she stood, she could see a flush of pink in his skin. The water must truly be hot.
“Do you mind some company?” she asked. Solas lifted his head from the edge of the spring and gazed at her through heavy lidded eyes. Then he smiled.
“Not if it is you.”
“Aegis the Short has the strongest blood claim to the throne but being related to the last mad king or the mad dragon queen who deposed him is probably not a good selling point. Waldau the One-Handed is certainly the most experienced warrior of them all but great warriors do not make great kings… Red Salka is a fierce woman and she spoke out against the dragon queen from the start but I suspect her reign would start with the settling of some old scores…”
