Uh... I just want to--unobtrusively--say that y'all are sure giving me a whole lot more anxiety about the last episode of supernatural than I was anticipating having. Ironic, since it seems like if they don't address anything further in regards to Dean and Cas, it might be disappointing but not unexpected for y'all? And yet all these posts about how Cas' feelings being the main thing left unaddressed going into the finale so it HAS to mean something will happen... and most of you on here appear to be waiting excitedly to know what happens in the finale because of any Dean 'n' Cas content there might be... but then it seems like the writers/producers have been fairly transparent in saying they wanted to set up the last episode like this because they wanted to focus on the brothers' relationship and that's why they closed out Cas' and Jack's storylines in previous episodes... I know I could be wrong, and the endings we got for Jack and Cas were not what I wanted for them, so I'd like to be wrong, but I guess it's weird to me that I am less concerned about how *I'll* feel about the end of the show than I am about *y'all* being sad if there's no mention of Cas. Even if I don't know you, I don't want you to be sad! And it looks like there's a lot of you out there that could be sad, so I am a n x i o u s.

so like the dnd/role play blogs are funny

but mostly reading them just makes me appreciate the DMs/GMs I've had more

like I'm sure you guys are having fun but it seems other people make crits reallllllly extreme and not at all standardized and that would drive me crazy

like i saw one that was about a person rolling to ring a bell and like destroying an inn counter with a nat 20 ....but like .... a 20 is supposed to be a perfect... how does perfectly tapping a bell end in property damage?

or even the ones where its like oh you nat 1ed your attack role so instead of stabbing the hell hound you pet it....its funny but it seems like an odd way for an attack to end even if you did completely fail at it.

also...do most people not confirm criticals? and/or allow saving throws against the effects of a nat 1? 

i mean every group is different but i dont know if i could play knowing that weird things would happen on a critical fail. right now i know all the odds on the main types of failure and i can factor that into decision making but if i dont know what worst case scenario to an action is its hard to commit to taking action

It was a nice day, a calm day. Ur was busy writing her report for the magical council about her last job, a short trip to Crocus to ensure that the population of the town was still believing that the dragon attack had been part of the Grand Magic Games and thus not real.

Biting the back of her pen, careful not to break it, she frowned as she stared at the wall where an old picture was the only decoration. Her study was the neatest, most silent room of her apartment because this was where she rarely spent her time. Sometimes, the silence was distracting her more than noise ever could.

Nonetheless, she had a report to. Looking back at the paper, she sighed. This would never end well. She could only hope that something would happen that would justify to postpone the report further.
