As much as I LOVE the idea of mama cat Selina going berserk over Joker killing her sweet baby... Nah, Joker doesn't care about a random alley cat. Jason is just being silly <3 (ie he started dyeing his hair to look like his favorite kitty when he was like 14 and going through a phase and it just stuck)

Though there's one birdie that got here early that ends up... Well... He doesn't die.

He did, uh, have some issues tho.

And when Tim got Red Hood'ed/Joker Junior'ed, guess who came to pick up the Bat!

AU where half the professors are either killed off in the Battle of Hogwarts or retire so McGonagall is a little desperate to get teachers for the next year and she ends up re-hiring Remus bc he did a good job with defence and she also hires Sirius bc he was the best transfiguration student she's seen in several decades that's still alive. Plus he's an animagus and she's always had a soft spot for her kind.

Except she doesn't actually realize the madness she's inflicted on herself until first day of staff meetings when Sirius smirks and sits across from Severus, who scowls deeply. Remus sits next to Sirius and innocents reviews his lessons plans, but his mouth twitches like he's struggling not to smile.

And then Harry Potter changes his mind and signs up for his 8th year, and is almost as inseparable from Sirius as James had been. Everywhere she looks its Lupin following Harry following Sirius with Severus sneaking around keeping an eye on them absolutely certain they're up to something (he's right; they're planning one last maurader prank in remembrance of James).

an anti-grid movement spreading the virus and people not wanting to digitize due to fear of catching it

all of society reshaping itself to maintain the grid and become marketable in the grid until the anti-grid movement forces more people back off the grid and realizing the earth is deteriorating from giant data centers and pollution (oh wow a real life parallel)

I’m still working out the plot, so sadly not really 😔 I have this one sentence so far that I’ll show you though— it might end up being scrapped, but I’m still at the stage of writing where I jump around and just jot down random bits of ideas and see what sticks haha.
