BAND OF BROTHERS: POINTS
(this part of the scene is so under appreciated)
One thing I noticed at the baseball scene in Episode 10, "Points", is the following. Alongside the majority of Easy Company playing baseball and Winters relating their post-war lives, we saw good Lip not playing but cheering his friends next to Harry.
Wear a green top, keep in mind. Then we have Speirs in his officer uniform, leaning against a jeep as both Winters and Nixon are approaching.
Speirs called for everyone to gather in a circle and we have everyone together.
Winters is on Speirs' left as he stayed a little behind, while Nixon is now leaning against the jeep. I could see Lipton on Speirs' right side (I can identify the green top he's wearing). Later we see Harry in front of Lipton, but that's because he went closer to hear Winters' announcement about the end of the war. Once everyone ran away to celebrate that the war was finally over, before the final scene with Winters and Nixon together on the jeep, I saw this.
Yes, I had to look closely at the little group of three men in the front. I could identify Winters (left and a little behind) and Speirs (right), and a third man in a green top, I'm sure, and for the silhouette alone, that is Lipton, initially with the rest of the men, but then he walked in another direction and went directly towards Winters and Speirs... but he gave his hand to Speirs in these last frames. Instead of going to celebrate with the rest of the men, Lipton went directly to Speirs. Proving the strong bond they both had built together during the last months since Bastogne.
Happy Speirton Saturday!
