Alright, so glancing at his skills: it seems Yanqing is a bit of a glass cannon.

He applies a status to himself when he uses his skill— "Empathic Sword Link," it's called. If he uses his ultimate when Sword Link is active, it increases his crit damage before dealing an impressive damage% to the enemy.

His real value lies in his talent, though: Sword Link decreases his chance of being attacked by the enemy, increases both his crit rate and crit damage, and even gives a chance for a follow-up attack (Herta beloved) that can freeze.

However, the drawback is that he cannot receive damage, else the talent effect disappears.

...Alright, so he's an interesting character. Unless EN translation fucked something up, the talent specifies:

When Yanqing receives DMG, the Empathic Sword Link effect will disappear.

Which means that he can be shielded and not be damaged, and still retain Sword Link.

I want to go ahead and test this with March, honestly, and I'll report what I find.
