Okay I have so many thoughts and feelings about chapter 130, it's given us a lot to think about!
To get this quickly out of the way, I've noticed that as a fandom we have all collectively come to the conclusion that Amane, baby Tsukasa and Nene have been transported to 1968, since Amane recognises the house as "his"--
--when previously he did not recognise the red house as "his" house.
This could just be a trick the pit is pulling a last ditch effort to stop baby Tsukasa from being taken away, since it's kinda strange the trio were transported from outside the house to inside in an instant.
But honestly I'm inclined to agree with the fandom and believe they did actually travel to Amane's present, not the present created via preventing Tsukasa's sacrifice, mostly because I don't think it's been fully prevented yet.
Which nicely leads me to my next... I'm hesitant to call this a theory? Idea maybe?
If we are currently in Amane's present in 1968, is there a chance that 1968 Tsukasa is also there? You know, the one Amane doesn't like?
The one who actually remembers Nene?
I've been wondering for a while how exactly Nene was going to get back to her original time. She's never going to have the stomach to sacrifice baby Tsukasa on her own, and even if she somehow did, there's no way Amane would ever let her.
There's no way that she's not going back, if she doesn't change things everyone will succumb to the pit in the future.
And from a narrative standpoint, there is just no way we have fully abandoned Hanako-- the literal titular character-- in favour of Amane. At least not at this stage. We will return to a time where we have Hanako again.
But how?
Well, Nene just might find an ally in 1968 Tsukasa. If I'm right to think that, just maybe, the sacrifice hasn't fully been prevented yet, he might exist in the place the trio have been transported to. He would remember Nene from when she and Kou met him inside the house, and the pit he's hosting would have an incentive to make sure baby Tsukasa is sacrificed. Amane certainly won't be willing to help Nene if he learns what she was really sent back to do.
In fact, maybe this is the trick the pit is pulling. It's allowing them to travel to Amane's present with baby Tsukasa, so middle school Tsukasa can convince Nene it's okay to sacrifice him to return to her own present.
I can admit this is more going into fanfic territory, but it would give us payoff for that brief scene with Nene and Tsukasa from chapter 102.
Why go out of the way to establish middle school Tsukasa knows who Nene is? Why have him ask her to play with him again? We are already aware that Nene is prone to time travelling by accident, we didn't need specifically Tsukasa explaining the flow of time is unstable. This scene has always bothered me until I read the ending of chapter 130, but now it may actually make sense.
Of course I could be entirely wrong, and 1968 Tsukasa does not exist in the space Nene, Amane and baby Tsukasa have been transported to. Perhaps they've been sent to Amane's new present in 1968, and he gets to see that saving Tsukasa did not fix all the problems his family has.
Special thank you to @vibing-lemon for the translations of chapter 130!
