A…what?

Oh. That poem. I had made a friend with this girl about a grade or two above mine. We got along and had some similar interests, so I had thought we were friends, but I don’t think she meant it at all. When I realized that, I frustratedly wrote a very…not good poem. It was a poem about suicide and when it got read, of course, a teacher/adult was told, and I had to explain that it was just a poem and that I wasn’t having those kinds of feelings. But that event made me realize that there are people in the world who will pretend to be your friends and then just throw you aside for newer, prettier friends, or friends of theirs that they knew long before you. What was sad was I kinda got along with her friends for a little while, but it ended. I ended up just, not sitting with them at lunch anymore and stopped talking to them. I also had gone to another school, so that helped, and having my lunch period change helped too. I ended up hanging out more with the people who mattered. Learning experience, yay.
