Okay, also thinking about this:

So... Tai went out of his way to get in contact with Ironwood to get Yang a new arm. something very difficult to do with the CCT down. He gives Yang encouragement when she expresses not knowing what to do now after what happened and talks to her like an adult. He trains her to help her iron out the flaws in her fighting style, which helped her BIG TIME when she faced Adam again. He talked to her about Raven, acknowledging that she’s mature enough to finally hear about it. ANd earlier, eh sat by RUby’s bedside until she woke up and was even bringing her breakfast in bed when he discovered that she had left.

So... why am I supposed to hate Tai again?
