LOGAN is the empty metal chest cavity. WADE is the heart in it.

logan lost his heart, he has nothing to protect. and wade is all heart and he is raw, pulsating, vulnerable, beating too hard constantly. Constantly breaking bones.

and if you protect and cherish your vulnerable heart it will give you literal purpose. there's no life without love it's an empty life.

colossus was a full metal skin man he is hurt from inside he has to stay metal, cable had a metal entire left side of his chest/ the heart. and logan is just metal bones and hollow insides.

they're basically the tin men that needed a heart. wade is the heart./also if we recall wade mentions wizard of oz when talking to other Deadpool's/

colossus has like a barrier to connect with wade, he doesnt get him, his skin is too thick in opposition of wades skin thats literally scarred and sensitive. they're opposites. but they try to connect.

cable has a steel chest, a steel heart, he can't feel. but he is sort of soft to other peoples hearts, like soft to touch. he is mostly human. he can still be touched by love. and he has felt a love like wade before, his wife, and now felt it once more, a beautiful heart like wade's. so he can recognize that wade is a beautiful heart and a beautiful love.

and logan he is hollow on the inside, heartless, he knows it, he feels everything. his skin is soft, his chest is empty. he is hurting. HE HAS THE FULL ABILITY to love so desperately he wants to love sooo badly, wants to be loved. he wants to show how capable his own heart is ,how much he can love. but its missing. his chest is ready for someone to get inside and live there and be protected.

him being alone with wade is basically him being alone with his love and his heart. and thats extremely extremely upsetting! he had to face his love for the x men.

like the metal keeps him upright and strong like a meat puppet. like he has to be strong! thats all there is to him!

and then his heart wade, lied to his body that we can fix the past if we fix the future. but thats just not true. what happened happened.

so did wade finally get the strong body able to carry him. YES!

and logan feels loved and wanted and he has something to protect and he did protect wade and did a good job.
