Your suffering likely has meaning, or at least motive. When we first contacted you, that is when we started observing you, and the world around you. We may have background knowledge on what is likely, but we know roughly as much as you. We cannot say his motives, or his purpose, so take everything we say with a heaping pile of salt. I doubt one would leave a knight to suffer for no reason, however, even if you lacked uses for the knight(which is unlikely in a kingdom) and were completely uncaring(which he was not) to the knight, it would be most logical to keep the knight around to use in the future. Without a reason, leaving you here is idiotic, so there likely is a reason, we just don’t know it.

I had done something to deserve it, I know that. Perhaps It was bad enough to warrant being left for so long- maybe that is why He will not acknowledge me? I should not have left, yet?
