First Look: The SCG 004S

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) has unveiled their latest model, the mid-engined 3-seater named the SCG 004S. While limited information is available, SCG are planning 25 car Founders Edition road cars to be delivered in 2018-2019 & believe that they can gear up to deliver 250 cars in 2020-2021. 

Specs:

Carbon fiber chassis and body

Weight around 2600lbs

Three seats, driver in the center position

5 liter TT engine around 650HP and 720 NM of torque

Manual 6-speed gearbox with clutch pedal standard

Paddle shift 2 pedal optional

Natural/tinted carbon fiber optional

The base price is $400k and a running prototype is projected for mid-2018.

(Compared to the $2 million SCG-003s) It’s a hardcore, true drivers supercar with a McLaren F1 style center seating position and custom carbon chassis! 🔥 It is powered by a 5.0L TwinTurbo V8 with a 8,500RPM redline, making around 650HP and 530lb-ft of torque to a 6speed manual or paddle shift gearbox. It weights just 2,600lbs🔥 The interior is unique as it is basically all analogue! Analogue gauges and switches expect for a phone dock and a backup camera. The design looks like a blend of classic Ferrari and the 2017 ford GT (the rear end). SCG 006! 🇺🇸 ______________________________________ The super retro looking @glickenhaus 006 and 006 spider are still computer generated models as of now but soon will be built in Connecticut! They take inspiration from ‘60s iconic cars and the entire exterior will be made from carbon fiber! They capture that signature GT style of design with a long hood, rwd proportions, short read and sloping roof! 🔥Under the hood will be a 6.2L supercharged V8 from the Z06 making 650HP paired to a 6 Speed Manual or a paddle shifted gearbox🔥What’s even crazier is that once the 006 is on the road, there will be a GT4 racing version that will be called the 006C! Each should cost around $250,000 and will be road legal in 49 states! SCG Factory! 🇺🇸 ______________________________________ @ is an American specialty supercar and racing manufacture located right near me in NY! They just announced a new factory in Connecticut that will be home to the 004 and 006 one being a mid engined center seat supercar and the other a throwback to old shelby’s!
