regrette | philippe & patrick
Philippe considered pretending he didn’t remember what he had done or said while under the red witch’s curse, but eventually decided there was little to gain from the ruse. His sire had held his tongue until he couldn’t remember caring --- and then he decided to say what he had in mind. Patricius did always have terrible timing, didn’t he? That didn’t make it any easier to march towards the vampire’s door, but it gave him the chance to say what he needed to say.
He came to a stop before Patrick’s door, smoothing down his shirt and clearing his throat before knocking. He didn’t remember feeling that nervous since --- never. He was never that nervous. And he didn’t particularly like first times. Philippe didn’t wait for the man to answer the door, stepping in and looking around for him. “Patricius”, he called for his sire, finding him a few steps later. A brief moment of quiet followed their eyes meeting and his courage thinned for a second before he pushed through it. “May I have a word with you?”
