Today

> Design meeting with Karlina, Joe and Robbie - discuss layout, design, graphics, colourscale, photographic layout and fonts. > Examples from both online and print based works brought in by Joe, Karlina and myself. Discussion and input from all into what we liked, didn't, what was possible and how to create. Also design programmes to use. > Decided on house style of almost all of above. Will wiggle and change to fit content. But strong base to work from- only need to decide font. Then, teady to recieve content and get to work. > Group meeting with John. Discussed new ideas, changes to previous ideas and kept up-to-date with progress. > Quick group meeting. Show everyone results of design meeting and make clear the kind of photography we'd like. Catch up on article progress, set next deadlines and discuss angles on work. > Also told group to write freely. No word count. Write as much as subject is worth and let natural writing styles come through. > Be free my children. Meeting set for two weeks time.

Future

> Decide on heading, sub-heading and text font. > Buy graphics tablet this weekend. Wacom? > Sketch a few graphics: cocktail recipes, moonshine bottle. > Further research into infographic and consider design to fit with overall layout. Share with group to check for dull facts by next Thursday [09.03.15] at latest.
