TV Party! w/ Snackmaster & Chris Balint ▲ February 27th, 2014
I didn't do much to meet new people this week. I did, however, work on communicating with people at work. I've always been the type to lead by example and just get (silently) frustrated when people don't follow. I'd like to be more vocal and discuss things before they get out of hand, and I think I did well this week.
I also had a conversation with the girl who was working the counter at Blick tonight. I don't like asking questions and revealing that I clearly don't know what I'm talking about (I *hate* looking/feeling stupid) but I went out on a limb tonight and learned something. Imagine that.
You shine with the radiance of a thousand stars; And the pale light of the moon emanates from your eyes. I look at you and my heart bursts, my eyes bleed, and my mouth slackens. I am in awe of you. Who could look upon you and not think 'other'? You are heavenly, divine, made from stars and from raw power. I'd kneel before if only I could feel my legs. I'd place my head upon the floor and sing out your name, But my throat is frozen in your brilliance. Once up on a time, I likened myself to you, but I am a mere reflection. Nay, not even that. I am but a sliver of your glorious light.
