5-4 Friday

It’s almost midnight so I’ll try to get this posted before Saturday arrives. Ready…set…go!

I’m watching a martial arts film. It’s been forever since I’ve seen one. It’s with sub-titles.

I’m exhausted. I haven’t been getting that much sleep lately, which isn’t surprising. My eyelids feel thick and heavy.

Heard from my brother earlier today. He had some wonderful and supportive things to share.

I’m restless so I’ve been scanning monster.com and other resources just to see what’s out there. I’m not impressed, but I haven’t done any hardcore searches.

I’m still here in case you’ve been wondering.

April 2916

Not so typical day for I've met up with some of my friends. I was woken up by this app Andee told me about. Really, it's good but it made me want to throw my tablet shut. Anyway, because of that app I was able to get up at a reasonable time. I ate breakfast in bed again for there were people working on our kitchen, still. After my breakfast, I relaxed for a while and got updates from my friends. Then I decided to work out which didn't go so well for I relaxed a couple of times but still, I was trying lol. After I worked out, Mom brought lunch and we ate together while watching the TV. When we were done, I proceeded to take a shower because my friends weren't replying anymore. After I took a shower, I found it hard to choose the clothes to wear because of the weather and the times I've used some wardrobes. I ended up with a long shirt with Finn the Human's patched on it tucked in a high-waisted shorts. I looked cute, I suppose. I took off eventually when my friends say they were on their way. It didn’t take me too long to get to the mall where Joyce and I would meet up because it was like at 2 in the afternoon. I still waited for Joyce inside the mall and roamed around National Bookstore wherein books were shouting at me to get money and buy them. Joyce was taking too long so I went to Penshoppe to check out their clothes. On Joyce's way to the store, I purposely bumped into her and then we hugged and went outside the mall to find a jeep to take us to Dana's recital in LPU. There was no taffic jam so we got there just in time. I was a bit anxious I wouldn't be able to get inside because I was wearing shorts but good thing I did. Andee was already inside the campus and we were welcomed by Dana and Trixie. The recital was just at the grounds of the building so it wasn't that spacious but fit for the event. A dry run was going on so we chose to walk around the campus. We went to the cafeteria and Dana was telling us all about the school and all. We went back to the recital and found good seats and stayed there for a while. Klark, Dana's suitor perhaps, came by to basically support her which was cute. And since the recital hasn't started yet, we went to buy some food but ended up with bottled water instead. We walked around again while pointing at spots where JaDine's movies were shot and James' commercials. We went back to the recital just in time for it to start. The MC's were good, in a way, they were really trying hard to be funny. Anyway, the recital was just the kids singing, dancing, and acting. I loved it when the kids sang, danced, and acted becuase there was always this one child who was distracted all the time and reluctant to move. She was so cute. Also, the two little boys were adorable; one was really handsome and talented, and the other was a big boy and so so charming. A skit involving an LGBTQ+ character was also shown and I cringed a lot but the main character was good and he was like Eric so luv him. Dana sang Roses with What Do You Mean in acapella with her workshop-mates. She also acted as a nurse in a skit, wherein the protagonist was good, by the way. And of course, she danced gracefully for the last part. Their facilitators performed for the very last part of the recital and it looked really fun that I almost joined in lol. Anyway, the recital was quite entertaining but it was more fun with our snide remarks. Also, Elmo and Vernin came by in the midst of the event and it was good to see them. Sab also arrives in time for the few performances and as usual, she was really supportive as ever. By the way, she wasn't with us when we went to LPU because she was supposed to get her hair dyed, however, she didn't know it would cost a lot and she was oddly pissed she went to the cinemas instead. When it was time for us to go, we went to Waltermart just across the university and waited for jeep there. We also saw Jeremy, Trixie's sister, and it was too awkward for them. They also went home together since they would fo the other way. Andee, on the other hand, stayed with us even if she could go home straight away. Unfortunately, there were jeeps passing by but the spaces inside weren't enough for the six of us to fit in. We also happened to already went inside the jeep then "aborted" it because Sab who was in front knew we would not fit. Embarassing, but fun. We resorted into walking until a jeep itself finds us. And it worked we were able to ride a jeep and I was beside Andee and we were talking mostly about UST. I'm really glad I've someone to relate to. We were stuck in traffic so it was taking long that Andee had to get off the jeep just before we got to SM. It was an excruciating ride because I was sweating a lot and was sick worried I was having my period. When we were dropped off, we all seperated ways, Sab, Joyce, Elmo, Vernin, and I. I was able to get in a ride home for not too long but the way was since it was around 7 in the evening already so traffic jams were getting into my nerves. Good thing I was able to take a nap inside the jeep. I got home just in time to satisfy my starvation. We had salted egg and chicharon for dinner. Yum! Anyway, it wasn't that big of a day but it was fun seeing my friends again.
