05.12.16 – The Day Beyoncé Giselle Knowles–Carter Blessed Me

it’s been 3 days since i saw beyoncé live for the first time & i’m still on a high . to say i had the time of my life is an understatement .

this woman is talent , hard work & dedication personified . she pours every single ounce of herself into her craft & it damn well shows . every single aspect of the show from her vocals , to the choreography , the costumes , the stage production , the band , the mamas , the pyrotechnics & the visuals were IMPECCABLE .

this was also my very first concert , so i had no idea what to expect , but the energy in qualcomm stadium was electrifying . it was awesome being around a crowd who appreciated & KNEW that they were witnessing greatness . now the crowd around us wasn’t perfect by any means , but i damn sure didn’t let that ruin my experience .

i was in a zone , tbqh . it’s one thing to watch footage of her shows , but to actually be there in her presence was like an out–of–body experience . i had no cares in the world as i sang & danced my heart out as if beyoncé was performing just for me . i was captivated by her & loved every single second of it .

if you have any doubts as to why beyoncé is considered one of the greatest entertainers of all time , go to her show . you’ll quickly realize why she is so well–respected by not only her fans , but by her peers as well . it’s rare to see an artist be so in control of every aspect of their career, but beyoncé does it incredibly well.

i’m so grateful to have been able to witness an icon doing what she does best: PERFORM HER ASS OFF .
