Also in the end of squid game I was like seriously we have no hope in humanity but when that person showed up with police to help the homeless guy I was relieved and was like f*** you old man 001 there is still some hope in humanity
my cat loves sitting on my lap, especially since it’s starting to get colder.
I find this terribly inconvenient at times.

I'm a bit confused about the timeline for Beatrice Letters. It takes maybe only a few months to get from the mainland to the island. So Beatrice Jr would of been less than 2 when she was orphaned for the second time unless I'm missing something. She doesn't seem to be as precocious as Sunny(still crawling when she was one). So the question is, how did she survive? Unless something completely went over my head.
Hi, @absolxguardian! Always good to hear from you.
I think you’re being a bit hard on Beatrice Jr’s abilities. From Lemony’s account, it seems she was able to read at only a few months. That’s pretty impressive! Plus we have to take into account that we only saw her in one chapter. Sunny was essentially forced to grow up through circumstances, while Beatrice Jr had an essentially carefree life at the same age. She does seem to be just as sentient as Sunny, from the way the Baudelaire siblings talk to her.
The infant was standing on a spot in someone else’sstory, during a moment of her own, but she was thinking neither of thestory far in the past nor of her own, which stretched into the future likethe open sea. She was gazing at the nameplate, and her forehead waswrinkled in concentration. Finally, she uttered a word. The Baudelaireorphans gasped when they heard it, but they could not say for surewhether she was reading the word out loud or merely stating her own name, and indeed they never learned this.[Chapter Fourteen]
From the chronological perspective, the coastal shelf only allows navigation once a year, when the area is flooded. So Beatrice Jr would be about 1 year old, give or take, when her family left. We don’t know how she survived the storm but I am sure the Baudelaire orphans did everything they could to protect her. The moment they were separated is actually ambiguous in “The Beatrice Letters”. She famously mentions Sunny having a cooking show on the radio, which she wouldn’t have been able to do on the Island. So it’s possible they survived the sinking of the boat together and only got separated later, when she was about ten years old.
As time goes on, many memories fade. Violet tying her hair up in a ribbon, to keep it out of her eyes, Klaus squinting at a book through his glasses, Sunny appearing on the radio to discuss her recipes - I don’t want these to be the only things I remember of the three most important people in my life.[The Beatrice Letters, BB to LS #3]
