In time, we may see greater value accorded to hand-drawn illustrations, photography, and hand lettering as a counter response to a certain “homogenisation” that AI can bring. Just as there seems to be a quiet comeback for physical books, vinyl records, knitting and other tactile crafts, I think there will remain a space for us designers. That said, we will have to learn to use AI to our advantage and combine insight with technological innovation.

It’s hard to put into words how exhausting this journey has been.

Since losing our home and the life we once knew, everything has felt uncertain 💔

Every day we try to keep going, stay hopeful, and believe that maybe things can still get better somehow.

I’m trying to continue my education while also helping my family through one of the hardest periods of our lives. Some days I feel strong… and other days everything just feels too heavy.

i have no particular love for emma watson, but it's truly so chilling to go into the tag expecting to see discussions only to witness hundreds of ai fakes of her naked body instead. reminds me of the countdown men had for when she would turn "legal". it started before her adulthood and it never stopped.

the invasiveness of the fakes as well. many of them seem to be intentionally voyeuristic simulations of paparazzi pictures. even in generating the photos these men can only derive pleasure from crossing the boundary, forcing the woman into the role of an unwilling object of observation. even in fantasies they do not want her desire and her consent.
