sometimes i don't think people really understand the life of a performance artist. like they don't see the long, grueling, sweaty hours we put into our shows and performances. then they either don't show up, or they continually bicker and complain about every little detail that wasn't exactly perfect. i can't do this right now. i'm just gonna keep ranting about how i have very little supporters in my life, and it makes me sad all day.

while we're on the topic...one time my family went to a show because my brother was doing the lights. they knew no one in the show and didn't even know what the show was about. but they went to support my brother. now i put together an entire production BY MYSELF, and all i hear is reasons why they can't/won't come. my life is fucking awesome.

my dad's not coming to my show tomorrow because he doesn't wanna ask to get off of work one hour early. my brother hasn't come to one of my shows since i was in 7th grade. my other family members don't wanna come because i'm not performing, so they don't see the point. my "friends" make excuses as to why they absolutely can't make it. this is why i only trust my kids. they don't turn their backs on me. sadly i can't say the same for my family and friends.

you know those people who always say, "yeah i'm gonna come support you," or, "man, i wanna come see your kids perform!" yeah i have A TON of those people. do they ever show up? no. am i surprised? no. and that's the saddest part.

Do you think you’ll change in the next 3 months? -- I’m hoping to physically change. Meaning that I hope to lose weight.
