I was researching Stuff for a Thing, and I noticed something in the Timelines. Back before her verdict from Trial 1, Amane referred to everyone by first name. Check the dates carefully (I'll note them the Japanese way, translations here)

20/08/01 Amane: You’re a really strange person, Haruka-san.

21/06/27  Amane: Shidou-san, I can’t say I’m especially fond of the way you assume that all children will love frivolous things like this.

22/04/19 Amane: Oh, were you talking to yourself, Fuuta-san? Or maybe there’s something there you’re able to see?

And more examples further back. Yes, even Shidou. That last one from April 2022 is the last time that happened, because she later switched to calling everyone ever by last name and first name, which is a lot more formal and generally doesn't sound so friendly.

23/4/19 Amane: No. I just came to observe. To see what people are thinking. To see who is being corrupted. What about you, Kajiyama Fuuta? [...] Kajiyama Fuuta, by coincidence today happens to be your birthday, correct?

Except in one case. After the first time in that last one (22/10/24), and just three months before the Fuuta one (23/4/19).

twice today i've seen

cars drive on the

opposite side of the road

for extended periods of time

into the oncoming traffic

to make a turn

a pregnant woman walks

across three lanes of traffic

to get to my window

and ask for a ride

she's missing several teeth

while i'm pulling into the gas station

she jokes about stabbing me and

throwing me out of the car

into traffic

to steal my suv

it's in poor taste but

i don't think much of it

i get her some cash from inside

she waits in my car

i hand it off and

drop her just down the road

she keeps talking about how she's

pregnant with triplets

i hope she's alright

i give a homeless man cash

my boyfriend at the time

calls me an idiot

he used to be homeless, too

well - what was I supposed to do?
