A lot has happened this year and I've already mentioned most of them on my mid-year newsletter. I won't repeat them anymore; just read them here. Aside from those things, I have a couple of announcements—good and bad.
Before anything else, I just want to thank you guys for supporting my latest novel, You Make Me Sick! It's my first time to actually interact with my readers while updating my story. Really, I'm deeply grateful for each one of you. I know that Jenica and Jeremy's story is now finished, but I encourage you to read my collaborators' stories as well! Check them out here. When you miss them, feel free to send me prompts for ficlets and AUs here.
BAD NEWS: Backread Series is unpublished
Now, it's time for me to announce the bad news. If you have read my previous newsletter, I promised that I would start updating Backread: KISH on September 7. However, I'm afraid this project would be pushed back again because 1) I'm on my last year in college and I can't afford to fail my subjects so I really have to focus on them, and 2) epistolary stories are really not for me. Don't worry though. I won't give up on them. I'll just have to push them aside for a while.
All of the installments in the Backread Series already have a detailed plots so all I have to do is to write them. Sadly, I'm really not in the mood of writing them and I don't want my stories to seem half-baked. Forgive me for not living up to my promise! But I will really do my best to finish this so I could finally share them with you, guys.
For the second half of the year, I won't be posting any content on Wattpad (unless it's a one-shot). Good news is that you can still expect content here on my Tumblr blog! Maglalabas ako ng dalawang seasons of Ficlet Fridays. One featuring 576 Hours With You and another one featuring almost all of the couples in my stories so stay tuned!
GOOD NEWS: I'm now badged up!
I may not be posting some content in Wattpad after my novel but I'm definitely not leaving Wattpad because guess what... I am officially a Wattpad Ambassador now!
Last Sunday (August 7, 2022), I woke up to the news that I have received my Ambassador badge already. In the past few months of training, this would really sound cliché but I really learned a lot from the Ambassador training. I'm glad to be a part of this ever-growing platform. If my 11-year-old self would know about this news, she would say, "Weh? Totoo ba?" As of now, I still can't stop looking at my badge but I just know that this badge also meant I have greater responsibilities now.
For now, I'm just stoked to share this news with you. At the same time, I'm excited to work with Wattpad and to serve my fellow Wattpad users.
