The Army - Basic training at ITC Catterick

I started at ITC (infantry training center) Catterick on the 23rd of March 2008, a Sunday. I turned up around early afternoon and was escorted through the camp by a para recruit that had broken his ankle in the first week of training 6 months earlier. On this day, 30 January, in 1972 thirteen civil rights demonstrators were killed by members of the 1st Battalion Parachute Regiment on the streets of Derry, Ireland; fourteen more were injured. Another victim of the shootings died months later. In 2010 an inquiry found the killings 'unjustifiable’ and police began a murder investigation.

came back from the volunteer training and my overwhelming feelings are:

also the feels the-blind-stilinski gave me

so basically we are going to volunteer as side helpers to assist in some riding lessons for children with conditions, much like therapy, the whole thing. And as the lady explained ADHD to us, I just couldn't help but think about Stiles. Then when she talked about visual impairment, I thought about Stiles. God, Stiles.
