thinking about romance and partnership again.

throughout my adult life, i’ve been told by a number of men that they know just how much i require. some didn’t follow through, and some did (until they didn’t). i’ve also never been in a relationship. a few situations? yes. but never anything official. being as careful/analytical as i’ve been in my life, sometimes to a fault, this comes as no surprise. it’s always somehow been for the best though.

not saying that the lack of an official “history of exes” makes me some supreme angelic being that’s better than other people (because i am not, everyone has their path 🤍). just imagining how beautiful it is that when that person and i finally come together, they’ll be able to know that i trusted them enough, loved them enough, respected them enough, to choose them to be the one who’s my first, real, love.
