I'm doing the 100 Day Project for the very first time. I have chosen to paint every day, which I hope will improve my color mixing skills and balance. It doesn't mean I'll be painting an actual image every day. I'll probably do things like prep the pages of art journals, create chaos layers, collage papers, things like that.
This was painted on the cover of an art journal my daughter made by collaging fast food napkins to an advertising brochure. The texture is fantastic, very tactile. Knowing it isn't precious gives me the confidence to be more brave about trying things out on it.
