Cursed with Sunburns

How does it feel to be able to go out whenever however who what where why you want to? How does it feel? You just step out into the world just like that right onto the sidewalk you go to the park or something you go on the swings you have a good merry jolly ol time how does it feel? And all the while nothing happens to you the sun doesn’t attack you you don’t get sunburned. Do you know what it’s like to have to hide and every time you open the door your skin burns you can’t open the window because you get sunburned you have to wear layers and layers of clothing all over and hide yourself just to go get some groceries or some shit do you know what it’s like when the sun is after you and the sun hates you and the sun is everywhere? The sun is everywhere. And it is out to get you do you know what that’s like? Of course you don’t so you tell me to stop being so sensitive and stop victimizing myself and you say it can’t be that bad and that wearing a million layers isn’t hard but you don’t know anything. I haven’t ever for a single day in my life stepped outside like a normal person in normal skin without hiding under layers. You think I don’t long to be like everyone else? What I wouldn’t give... I’d just like to lay on the grass and feel the warm sunshine and the cool breeze for once. How does it feel? I’ll never know.
