The layers, backstory and equation of Dilsheer-Mala-Mohini Today's episode was interesting to say the least, with facets of the Dilsheer-Mala-Mohini backstory revealed. Mala and Dilsheer's marriage fell apart and in the heat of the moment he threw her out and never let her see Rudra again, something we can see he regrets. He cares for Mala still. Mala was influenced by her sister to leave the house, Mohini herself confessed that today. It reflects that Mala is weak mentally, she's not strong and determined the way Mohini or Paro are. Mala needs someone to reassure her and make her decisions for her, before it might have been Mohini and then Tejawat. Mala is also inconsistent, whatever she has been telling Paro all these years, she herself doesn't act on, she feels defeated very easily. Is she really the woman who has taught Paro so much in life, who has bought her up? Dilsheer was just...an inconsiderate father yet AGAIN. How could he just say "pati patni ke beech ki baat hai". Pati-Patni ki beech ki baat mein the one to suffer most is Rudra, with no fault of his own Rudra has been slapped again and again by fate, been shattered over and over again by his loved ones but when it came to making a call on the situation Dilsheer told him to stay out of it. This was not cool Papa Ranawat, not cool at all. Mohini is just bitter and is filled with poison when it comes to Mala, Dilsheer and Rudra. Over the episodes we have seen Mohini is also very insecure. She's always hated Mala for being the favourite of everyone else, she's always felt insecure that she will lose the haveli and business to Dilsheer and his family. Of late Mohini is further threatened of losing her position in the house, with the way she was almost thrown out and Maithili also giving it back to her. What the story hints at is maybe Mohini was supposed to marry Dilsheer but he chose Mala. Mala became Mohini's "Jethani" which is older in terms of relation. Mohini must have caused tiffs in Mala-Dilsheer's marriage, influenced Mala to leave, this securing the haveli, business and top position for herself in the family. Her hate for Dilsheer may stem from him choosing Mala over Mohini. Whatever it may be the backstory is interesting, waiting for more of it to unfold. Also love the different layers of grey of side characters being shown so well in the show too.
