First Appointment with Women's Services

Officially fully graduated from the fertility center to my regular office! The nurse that took my history was very nice. Sadly, I didn’t get to take the pregnancy test since I’ve already had an ultrasound. Woomp Woomp. I really wanted one lol. We talked a little about my plan to VBAC and she tried to ease some of the concerns I have about carrying and delivering after having a c-section. It helped that she had had a VBAC herself. Pretty uneventful except for a surprise 1 hour glucose test. Bleh, not a fan. Usually they wait until 28 weeks but my BMI puts me in the obese range so I’m at risk for gestational diabetes. One week until I meet with a midwife and we get to hear baby’s heartbeat.

Still nothing much going on here. The nausea and fatigue are starting to let up finally. I brought my home Doppler to Korea to visit my husband in port and we both got to hear our Tadpole's heartbeat. The look on his face was so adorable, I almost wanted to cry. Tomorrow I finally have my first prenatal appt and ultrasound! I'm super excited for that. I feel like I've been waiting forever. I also registered for a pregnancy seminar on Friday that talks about all of the official documents and stuff that we have to get filled out because we live overseas. It also talks about all the resources we have here, and some general pregnancy info. I'll definitely update tomorrow after my appt!

I'm so tired, and I don't think it's ever a pregnancy symptom, it's just a side effect. I wake up early to pee, then once I'm up I have to eat so I don't throw up, and by that time I'm up and awake so I can't fall back asleep. 😴💤

My next ultrasound is booked! For.... TOMORROW!? I get to see my baby again tomorrow which is the craziest thing. I'm hoping they'll let me hear the heart beat instead of just see it, I'll be 11w3d, so exactly four weeks since my last ultrasound at 7w3d. I'm so excited!

Both babies have started moving together! It's a really strange almost tapping feeling since they are so close together it's so strange!
