hey everyone!! pls give a resounding welcome to my official service dog in training, anubis! anubis is a 11 week old male parti standard poodle, and he’s been an absolute angel thus far. he’s currently napping on my bed after on and off wrestling with his hedgehog toy and napped the whole car ride home! i’m super excited to start our journey together

we went on a much more exciting walk than anticipated last night!!

we wanted slurpees so we went the “back” residential way to the gas station a few blocks away. at the top of the hill right by our complex they were emptying a fire hydrant i guess? what a great opportunity!! he had never been around running water like that before but he was a CHAMP. no hesitation, happy to stand in the water for cookies. and you can see by the last pic he even sat in it! i really hope he ends up loving water because some of my fondest memories with lulu ivolve the river. 

then the picture of the sidewalk with no dogs you can kind of see there was some construction happening further along in the walk! this was definitely more scary and he was very concerned when the construction guys came over wanting to pet him. but on the way home passing it he was just fine!

anubis log day 2: i’m more active now than i’ve ever been which means i have basically no spoons left to write this fjsjjfs. i’ve gotta rework basically my entire schedule, not that i had much of one to begin with, to take care of him and find the perfect medium for everything, but i don’t rlly mind. today we worked a little on leash manners and a default leave it game, but my favorite part of the day was taking a nap and cuddling up together.

So today I had a wild craving for Liquid Gold mac & chz so I dragged the kids to the store for that and sour cream cuz i also wanted a baked potato but the grocery store smells made me gag and now I don't want anything but I'm still hungry.... :(
