Anya of Greyview [KettLs 2026]
Had to give Anya a little love. Oaths & Empires is fast becoming my favourite DnD real play and you’ve got to love a misunderstood, responsible and serious lady with ambition and a secret sense of humour. Shipping her hard with politically tone-deaf, bloody-minded and impulsive Killian of Blackrest. The tension in early eps was just too much to ignore and we love an enemies/rivals-to-lovers story in this house. Make it happen, Luke & Jasper…
What’s the shipping portmanteau? Anyilian? Killya? (ngl I like Killya)
Points for guessing who I’ve fancast her with.
Not sure why the Tumblr app is absolutely crushing the colour and contrast… tried every which way to mitigate it. Oh well! Who knows how this is going to look.
As usual, GenAI can get tae.
GUYS WE HIT 150000 ON STAT BLOCK STUDIOS!!!!!!! WE GET MIDGE FULL TIME IM GONNA CRY HES GONNA BE SO HAPPY
Okay, I just watch the Hell or high rollers Force of extinction one-shot, and first of all, First ever time watching ANY Hell or High Rollers and it looks like I may need to go watch their actual campaigns, and SECONDLY. I am, officially, 100% obsessed with Force of extinction as a system.
I was introduced to it through Roll From the Hip's FoE one-shot, and now I watched Hell or High Rollers and I have no idea if it's just Jasper's pure charisma and style as a GM.
But I am OBSESSED with how fun and easy it looks to run!
As a GM myself, mostly running DnD, I've found it a lot to have so many rules to juggle, but having it be so heavily roleplay based and being so condensed to just have the skills be wit, Grit and survival, like. I am excited for this source book and to see all they have cooking up over there. Like, legitimately.
I also really like the resource management system and how players really just have to try to convince the GM how they can use the tool in order to really use it. Like. UGH. I'm OBSESSED.
I'm so glad I managed to back it, and I can not WAIT to see the full source book and be able to RUN IT.
Anyway, here's a doodle of Jasper I made whilst watching the Hell or High Rollers one-shot.
I sometimes wonder what a 2026 British Online Creator Awards (BONCAs) would look like.
And then I realised that I don't know enough British YouTubers, and also British YouTube just isn't the same as it was back in 2016.
I don't doubt that there's enough YouTubers to fill an event like that now, I'm just not sure if it would be as popular now as it was then.
I mean, Dan and Phil would be invited (because obviously), and their fanbase alone would probably sell out the event.
I can imagine KickThePJ attending because he was both there last time, and I can see him wanting to support his friends.
It would be a great opportunity for Shoot From The Hip to meet more YouTubers and potentially plan future collabs.
I'm pretty sure DanTDM won an award last time, so he might be open to attending.
I can see TommyInnit potentially attending as well, maybe to do interviews for either of his podcasts, and that would bring in the YouTubers who are friends with him (and live in the UK) that I don't know about.
I can also see Ellen from OutsideXbox and OutsideXtra covering the event, even if they don't get nominated for anything.
Would Jacksepticeye attend? Maybe? I suppose it would depend on if he or his friends got nominated for anything.
I'd like to imagine if there's an award relating to animation, then Eddsworld would be both nominated and invited.
If there's anything DnD related, I would hope that Roll From The Hip, 12 Sided Studios, Oxventure, and the other UK based DnD channels that I don't know about would attend.
Don't know if TomSka is active enough to be invited, but it would be fun if he was there.
And there would probably be some sort of streaming related award, so that would open the doors for a bunch of Twitch streamers that I don't know to attend as well.
And as I said, there's probably so many other Yotubers I don't know who would attend and be nominated for awards.
I don't know if this is silly or not, but it's just something I've been thinking about.

We've got just 8 hours left until the Force of Extinction campaign ends and we're just ~$8k from our next stretch goal: SPLICING RULES! Can you help us get there?
Splicing Rules will introduce a new advanced mechanic to the game: Mold the very DNA of your character, as you unlock inhuman abilities, taken from the same monstrous creatures that hunt you!
