Recently, El Ghoul enlisted one of the most high-profile pop collaborators out there. He tapped Zayn Malik, former member of pop band One Direction, and Jungleboi for new single “Flames.” After the track received a warm reception, they have released an elaborate and thought-provoking music video for the single that’s set to come out in January. Dancing Astronaut spoke to El Ghoul about the thought-provoking video, and about how the concept for the visual narrative came to be. He explains, “It’s Zayn’s creation to be honest. He had this concept and storyline, and all I really had to do was read it and enjoy.”

R3hab confirmed that the music video for Flames will drop on January and that Zayn himself came up with the concept and storyline for the music video - 12/21 x

I had some down time at home today so I spent some significant time in the astral.

It's actually been a hot minute since I've been to the astral completely (I usually just am partially there partially when I'm working with spirits). It was actually really nice, I've been missing it a lot. My vision there was very good, which surprised me.

I hung out with my guides for a while, then we went into the astral outside of my astral space. It might be winter here irl, but in the astral it was spring. I walked out to a beautiful sunny morning, and I roamed through a grassy field spotted with flowers. I laid down in the grass and soaked in some sunshine for a while.

Then I decided to try and reach out to Prince. For those new to my blog, Prince is a fae prince of a local summer court that I've worked closely with. I haven't spoken to him in a while. So I went back in and then went to blank astral space to reach out to him.

I was surprised when I opened the door and immediately entered into the parlor where we often used to meet, a cozy fire crackling in the hearth. I sat down and reached out to him. In the past I usually didn't get an answer, but this time I did, and the door opened and he walked in.

He walked in and sat down across from me; he appeared to be full of energy, and he gave me a sly, playful smile. His features also looked very defined this time, his white hair shimmering.

I asked how things were with him, and he said that things are going well. I asked about his court, and he said that things are calm politics-wise. He said that the winter is usually a more calm, "slow season" for them.

He kind of talked to me about how the courts work with the different seasons, but I don't feel that I fully grasp/understand how it all works. He is in a summer court, and when it's winter, their court doesn't disappear... it also stays summer there, but it - like their energy is lower?? Tbh I'm not entirely sure, I'll have to do some more research about that.

Anyways, we talked for a while, and got caught up. It's been a while since I've talked to him. Actually, I told him that, and he said "really?? It hasn't been too long for me" with a smile, and then I remembered that time works differently for the fae. Maybe for him it really hasn't been long at all.

Anyways, we talked for a little while longer, and then he touched up my fae energy, which is still going strong. We parted ways, both with the intention of seeing each other again soon.

It was really good to see him again, as well as just being in the astral. I have big plans once 2020 starts and I get settled into school. I have plans to make my practice more rigorous, and I'd like to start doing readings again, both free and paid. But, of course, that depends on if it's in my path to do so.
