competitive morning
After the furor subsided, I opened my eyes. You smiled at me, full of glee and a hint of smugness. “Got you first,” you whispered, and I saw the love in your eyes.

Fast forwarding 4 months
So content with my life rn. I’m in touch with all the people that are real with me and it’s amazing. Many people may say they have two or three friends that they see being lifelong friends, but I feel like I have a handful of them. At the end of senior year people were going around saying my homies and I friendship will die within the couple months in college. It’s been 4 months and we’re closer than ever and we don’t even see each other on the daily. I still keep in touch with people who I hung out throughout the years and even if I didn’t talk to them in months it would feel like nothing has changed. I’m ahead of the game with studying with finals and I’m starting to look forward to working bc most of my coworkers and managers are rad af. Once finals is over I’m getting a second job to get money and use my time wisely. I became a more independent person while I’ve been in college. Within the 4 months in college, I learned more in college than I have in high school, academically and about myself. I am able to do a lot of things by myself and I don’t need company to accompany me(I saw what I did there). I accept myself and things that happen so I’m able to move on quicker. Life is beautiful

Sundays are honestly always sooooooo painful. It’s soooooo painful to wake up crying from missing him so dearly. Sundays used to be our days together. I would literally do and give anything and everything to be able to spend time with him again. I just hope he’s staying happy, smiling, safe, and warm. At the end of the day, that will always be what’s most important to me. Oh, how I wish I could see his smile and hear his laugh and hold his hand more than anything in the entire world...
