Yesterday my sister told me I weigh too much…
last night i fought a girl that was four inches taller than me and 13lbs heavier. it was a really tough match, more than i expected. the end result was a draw..but i knew she had me more than i had her. i came out of this fight proud of myself because i fought with everything i had, and even hurt her in the 1st round. everyone says if she would've been my size i would've mangled her..but i'm just happy i got to fight. videos will be up later hopefully..
i love what i do and wouldn't trade it for the world. the people in the fight community are so respectful and friendly, before and after the fight. everyones hard work showed and i had a blast yesterday. can't wait until next time..WKA here i come.
So i've cut out tea/coffee, drinking plenty of green tea and hot chocolate if I genuinly want a hot drink/or skimmed hot milk.
Upping the protein and good fat, such as eggs, tuna, cheese, PB,houmous and other lean meats.
Trying to minimize carbs, I only eat wholegrain (or when possible)...so oats for breakfast, 58 calorie warburtons whole meal loaf, pitta and brown rice/pasta.
Fruit- Bannanas if hungry and craving, bluberries with low fat natural yoghurt and a sprinkle of oats for a treat or dessert. Apples and any other berries...
Next stop, I need to increase green veg! I love spinach, broccoli and peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and i'll buy whatever in for what I can.
Potatoes- I'm more of a bread kind of girl...I had chips the other day and left half of them...mash and roasts are nice but not tooooo fussed...going to try some sweet potato dishes though!
I havn't limited myself to not having anything I love, but just taking in account I shouldn't have too much sugar...malt loaf, the odd biscuit or small chocolate bar is ok. I love dessert, hot chocolate and although I had B&J's yesterday I would have chosen the Fro Yo if it was there!
This is my contract to myself... it's my staple diet and for anybody interested to how I stay below 9 stone... yeah. I'm not crazy dieting and I do exercise in moderation, I want to be fit and healthy, more than anything I want a bit of muscle, without loosing my curves...
Osteoporosis is bad in my family, I'm really conscious of my posture and the reason I exercise is to sustain endurance and straighten me up so hopefully...I won't end up like my Gmar bless her..
Plus...I need to drink so much water!
This is my contract... 1 month till holiday and I'm hopfully trying to get into a healthy mind set of eating before Uni...so I can eat like
