i have lived thousands of partial lifetimes and died thousands of partial deaths to answer your questions. of you, in turn, i only ask a few: can you hear me? can you feel me? if you were here instead, would you live and die for me too?

With my submission I wanted to show each member of the gang’s connection to Lupin through physical objects. As they are mainly thieves whose lives revolve around acquiring priceless artifacts, I thought it would be fitting to use objects as basic representations of each relationship. The four of them have unique partnerships to Lupin, all depicting different attachment types and forms of love. These relationships help to build Lupin’s identity and personality— without his gang revolving around him, Lupin finds it difficult to put together who he really is. They are the pieces that make him up.
