Last night was my first night working as a scare actor at the 13th Gate - Louisiana's Ultimate Haunted House (ranked number 1 in the Nation).

I was a pirate prisoner, and we got a lot of good scares! Can wait to get back to it next weekend!

The 13th Gate

Made it to the 13th gate last Thursday. Review is being written.

My standard set up for casting: 1. Latex-free gloves 2. One paper towel on hand, ready for action 3. Roll of paper towels on standby for near catastrophic events 4. At least three tongue depressors (one for each resin part, a 3rd just in case) 5. Buckets, labeled for parts and ready 6. Baby powder to prolong the mold lifespan and to provide a release agent 7. The mold, already strapped and ready for action 8. The resin parts, pretty much always seated next to their corresponding buckets to avoid confusion.
