VERY QUICK NETFLIX REVIEWS
15 Quick reviews of movies I’ve watched on Netflix recently!! Lost Girls: Fantastic Movie. Great casting/acting. Very similar to Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri if you enjoyed that movie it’s worth checking out.
The Platform: Bit of a strange movie, but it was really interesting and I really enjoyed it. I did watch the English dub, not sure if there is any dialogue difference.
Horse Girl: This movie seemed to be enjoyed by a lot of people, but I definitely wasn’t one of them. Didn’t like this one at all.
Cam: Pretty interesting film. Not the best, but definitely not the worst I’ve watched lately.
Equals: Decent film. Reminds me a lot of The Giver, feels very worm bodies/Romeo and Juliet towards the end. Performance by Kristen and Nicholas were good/chemistry believable.
Trust_: Brilliant film. Acting was fantastic, but it was such a heart breaking movie. I definitely would never be able to watch this again. Very triggering film so be warned if you plan on watching it.
The Amityville Horror: Awakening: Very different, pretty creepy but not overly the best movie. Worth checking for Horror fans.
13 Cameras: Decent movie. Creepy.
14 Cameras: Not as good as the first one, but not horrible either.
Down A Dark Hall: Good idea, horrible delivery. Boring movie.
Polaroid: Good idea, decent delivery. Creepy. Similar to Final Destination/Countdown.
Deadcon: Horrible movie. Nothing redeeming about it.
The Stepfather: Great movie, enjoyable. Decent acting (except AHcangofuckherself)
Before I Go To Sleep: Amazing thriller, fantastic performance by Nicole Kidman. Highly recommend.
The Package: HILARIOUS. I laughed so hard watching this film. It’s so stupid, but definitely worth checking out for comedy fans.
Hey Could you draw the main guy from 14 cameras, he is so underrated and creepy
Seven Days of Films: 30 March - 5 April
Fantastic Mr Fox
All I can say is that it’s my favourite animated film of all time. Everything about it is phenomenal.

Mary Poppins Returns
I didn’t enjoy this film that much, but it still deserves the rating i’m giving. The costumes and production design are both amazing, but it doesn’t capture the essence and magic of the original film and some of the musical numbers are grading. On that note, the film feels more like a group of songs strung loosely together by a plot by it’s most basic definition.

13 Cameras
This movie, and it’s sequel, are definitely not for those who don’t like a slow burn; as all the action occurs in the last twenty minutes. Easily, the best part about both of these movies is their villain who is disgusting and creepy and makes me never want to trust a rental home ever again.

14 Cameras
While I would encourage those who are interested to watch 13 Cameras, don’t bother with it’s sequel. This film feels much longer than it actually is and this is mostly because of it’s underdeveloped characters. Another minor thing I kept noticing with this film is that neither of the college age girls close the door when they are getting changed in a house shared with the parents and a teenage boy!?

Law and Order: Special Victims Unit
I’m not mentioning this solely for the purpose of proving that I’m still watching this, but to comment on a particular episode. Father’s Shadow (Season 13, Ep 13) features Cameron Monaghan as the main perpetrator and his performance is incredible. Even if you’re not interested in watching the whole show, at least watch this episode.
