Hi! This fic a read on AO3, it might be deleted because I just can't find it :( A very unique AU where people had the ability to literally take their hearts out and hold them or leave them outside of their body. Steve thought that his parents would leave their hearts in a safe every time they left Hawkins. During s3 when steve is tortured by russians they have a device that can forcfully open his chest and they maim his heart. Steve keeps Eddie alive in s4 by putting Ed's heart in his chest.

Description
Allegory of Justice is an oil-on-panel painting by the Italian Renaissance artist Giorgio Vasari . The painting was commissioned on 6 January 1543 by Cardinal Alessandro Farnese for the main room of the Palazzo della Cancelleria in Rome, and was executed the same year. It and the rest of the Farnese collection were later moved to Naples and it is now in the National Museum of Capodimonte.
