Tau Day Update
There’s a few goings-on and changes in my Tumblr presence. Here’s the run down:
This blog may shift to a more aesthetic nature through the power of better tagging systems. Personal posts and whatnot won’t be going away, but I might be, considering how much time homework and rocket research take up.
My space blog, @astronauticalaspirations, will be starting a new series next week, detailing one Messier Object each day. This will be in addition to the regular space content.
My political blog, @objectivistnerd, will be resuming from it’s long hiatus in the near future. This means, among other things, few political posts over here. Note that my political/philosophical views have shifted considerably since I last used it regularly, so the first order of business is an apostasy of sorts, which should go out this weekend.
Finally, I’m taking one of my hoarded urls to launch a new science and general engineering blog. For all my complaining about Tumblr’s attitude and comprehension of the sciences, I’d made very little effort of my own to rectify the problem. Well, that’s going to change. You’ll be able to find it at @uranium-233.
I’m also in possession of a these urls, I’d be willing to give access to:
@hipsterflags
@ask-an-objectivist
@whatshouldwecalllibertarians
My about page should probably be updated to reflect some of these changes, but my schedule doesn’t really allow for most of the things I’d like to. The goal is to have the sideblogs running largely by queue before the summer ends.
Hope you Tau Day was enjoyable, and best wishes!
SEVENTEEN THOUSAND (and two) POSTS ON THIS DAMN BLOG
I should be writing.

I don't think I've ever been sadder to leave a place. New York feels like my home, my city, like I belong there. That scares me. Being in the city, being around so much creativity and emotion and sheer everything-ness was inspiring and such a joy. I could be completely myself and be embraced for it. That is such a powerful, healthy environment to be in. Leaving felt like being ripped from someone's arms. But could I really make it in New York?
